THE OAK TREE

The oak tree serves as one of the most honorable trees throughout the world; one that has accompanied humans since ancient times. The oak tree is known for living very long. Some oak trees have been on this earth for almost a thousand years. It is a tree that has been witness to a generation of life altering events; a tree that has survived mother’s nature obstacles and stands mighty tall despite the odds. 

The oak trees strength, durability, and longevity makes this tree a symbol of moral, wisdom and knowledge. However, like Rome wasn’t built in a day, neither was the oak tree. You see the oak tree that we see today was once a very small acorn.

Which reminds us that the oak tree serves as symbol of persistence, resistance, endurance, and strength. The oak tree does not live for a day, it has the mindset of living for centuries. it encourages us to embody these traits and resist the many challenges and temptations with strength and conviction. As creatives we face our fair amount of obstacles which at times makes it seem impossible to overcome. However the oak tree encourages us to think of the journey as a marathon not a sprint and that building our endurance is a necessity on our way to success. 

As the oak tree grows, it becomes harder to knock it down because of the deep and powerful roots buried beneath the ground. It serves as a reminder that we become stronger and powerful with age and every obstacle that is overcome. Eventually nothing that comes our way will bring us down.

The oak tree is not selfish. It is a provider of resource for man and animal, having provided reliable material that has proven to last generations. It reminds us to be grounded and selflessness. The journey that we take is a long and difficult one, but always remember where you came from.  The oak tree remind us to be generous and share the blessings you experience with the ones who are less blessed than you. in doing so, everything will come back in multiple beneficial ways.

The OAK TREE sets a foundation that will last for generations to come.
